Frequently asked questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What exactly do you do?

I help women athletes and outdoor enthusiasts recover, rebuild, and stay strong so they can keep doing what they love—without overstimulating their nervous system. Through a mix of movement therapy, strength training, nervous system regulation, wellness coaching, yoga, and recovery techniques, I create personalized plans to support your body’s unique needs.

2. Do I have to be injured to work with you?

Not at all! While I do work with women recovering from injuries or surgery, I also help those looking to improve movement, prevent injuries, or build strength for their favorite activities. Whether you want to move better, recover smarter, or feel stronger, I’ve got you covered.

3. Is this physical therapy?

No, I do not provide physical therapy services, diagnose injuries, or treat medical conditions. I am a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Chopra Wellness Coach, and Yoga Teacher, which means I take a holistic and personalized approach to movement, recovery, and performance. My work focuses on wellness, movement, and recovery coaching to help you feel your best. While my approach can complement physical therapy by helping clients transition back into activity safely, I do not replace medical care. If at any point I believe you need specialized treatment, I will refer you to a licensed healthcare provider to ensure you receive the right support at the right time.

4. What kinds of clients do you work with?

I work with:
Athletes & outdoor enthusiasts recovering from injuries or looking to build strength.
Weekend warriors who want to feel strong, move better, and prevent injuries.
Women post-surgery (ACL, hip, etc.) looking for guided movement support.
Those who feel “stuck” in their bodies and want a nervous system reset.
Active women looking for a sustainable, holistic approach to movement and recovery.
Anyone who wants to move and feel better—without burning out their nervous system.

5. How do I know if I need nervous system support?

If you feel stiff, fatigued, or like your body never fully recovers, your nervous system may be overloaded. Signs include:

  • Chronic tightness or pain

  • Poor sleep and low energy

  • Feeling “on edge” or easily overwhelmed

  • Struggling to bounce back from workouts or stress

My approach helps reset your system so you can move, recover, and thrive.

6. What’s your training style?

I focus on smart, sustainable movement—not pushing harder just for the sake of it. My approach combines:
💪 Strength & mobility work to improve movement efficiency and prevent injury.
🧘‍♀️ Yoga and breathwork for nervous system regulation and relaxation.
🎯 Sport-specific training tailored for outdoor athletes and adventure seekers.
🔄 Recovery techniques that help your body adapt, heal, and perform at its best.
💡 Health and wellness coaching to support long-term habits and lifestyle changes.
🙌 Personalized guidance so every plan fits your goals, body, and needs.

7. Do you offer virtual coaching?

Yes! I offer virtual coaching and movement sessions, so you can train with me no matter where you are. This includes personalized programs, guided movement sessions, and recovery strategies tailored to your needs.

8. What should I expect in a session?

Each session is personalized to YOU and may include:

  • A movement assessment to see how your body is functioning.

  • Strength and mobility exercises to support your goals.

  • Health & wellness coaching to build habits that help you thrive.
